To be aware of, and adhere to the Statutory Regulations, Anglican Care’s Policies and Procedures, Code of Conduct and Philosophy of Care. Ensure that Home Care is operated in accordance with the legal and ethical requirements of the appropriate Health and Aged Care regulatory bodies, and complete relevant documentation including claim forms, surveys, questionnaires, quality reporting and audits. Liaise, negotiate, and network with regulatory organisations, Medical Officers, ACAT and other service providers as appropriate, regarding HCP &CHSP Create services with appropriate governance to encourage maximal safety and efficiency of services, ensuring service is compliant with regulations at all times. Collaborate across Aged Care leadership team and contribute to the growth of aged care services. Identify growth and funding opportunities and strategically plan for both. Ensuring and coordinating of all relevant legislative, regulatory, contractual and other compliance processes. Managing the planning and preparation of submissions to the relevant regulatory authorities. Develop and maintain regulatory policies, procedures and compliance programs. Recommend changes to services specifications in line with statutory requirements. Identifying risk areas and facilitating means to remove or better manage those areas by providing Compliance advice. Assisting with risk management and risk reporting activities as required. Researching and sourcing of industry information to ensure the group is at the forefront of regulatory management. Work with the Finance Team to ensure budgetary requirements are met. Meet HCP and CHSP monthly reporting requirements and outputs as per Grant Agreement / Activity Work Plan Achieve performance goals across Community Aged CareAbout you? Tertiary qualifications in Nursing Registered Nurse with current Registration under AHPRA (Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency) Current unrestricted drivers’ licence A current NDIS Check National Police Check (Newcastle Anglican will consider the relevance of any reported outcomes) Australian work rights Experience in the Health, Aged Care or Home Services Sectors or a demonstrated understanding of these sectors.
